Separation anxiety is natural. Establish a short goodbye routine, reassure your child that you'll return, and stay calm and positive. With consistency, most children adjust quickly.

A backpack, water bottle, lunchbox/snacks, an extra set of clothes, and comfortable shoes. School supplies may also be required.

Basic independence (using the toilet, eating), following simple instructions, recognizing their name, and interacting with peers.
